Fiddle leaf fig looks burnt
Plant: Fiddle leaf fig (Ficus lyrata)
How long have you had the plant? 1 to 6 months
Concerns:
The new leaves are burnt. The stem looks burnt too. Started three months back.

How do you determine WHEN to water: Whenever the water meter is low, I water it.
Describe HOW you water: I pour a small amount of water into the soil.
What fertilizer do you use? I haven’t started using any fertilizer
When was the last time you repotted? I haven’t repotted.

Your fiddle leaf fig looks completely fine to me. If you are looking at the dark brown tip of the plant near the newest leaf, that’s just the sheath that covers the next leaf and it is supposed to be that color/texture. The stem is also supposed to be brown – only the newest part of the stem will be green – and it will eventually turn brown (the color of bark).
If you want your plant to grow well in the long term, keeping it as close to these large windows is key to growth but you must use fertilizer to support the growth. More info on fertilizing here.
